Get to know Tessy Tamuno-Wokama, the visionary force driving Telan Cosmetics. Beyond her role as a wife and mother of two boys, Tessy is a lawyer and an avid makeup enthusiast. Hailing from Delta State, Nigeria, her journey into the world of makeup began in her university days, specifically in 300 level. A one-time encounter with a lady selling a particular makeup brand left a lasting impression, sparking Tessy's passion for makeup. She started experimenting with various brands, seeking the perfect match for her skin tone.
Tessy's personal struggles with finding suitable makeup inspired the creation of Telan Cosmetics. Frustrated with blending multiple foundation shades and navigating harsh chemicals during her pregnancy, she decided to pioneer a brand that eliminates compromises and struggles.
Officially launching Telan Cosmetics in 2022, Tessy had already been using her products, refining them to perfection. Proudly produced in Canada, her brand is a testament to her commitment to addressing the beauty needs of dark-skinned women globally.
